A good premise wasted in this 1971 TV movie. Cop Lloyd Bridges inadvertently commits murder...then finds himself assigned to the case. Slow pacing, poor acting, and an overall sense of flatness do it in. On the upside, though, is the very familiar cast, veterans of the '50s, '60s and later. You may not recognize all of the names, but one look at the faces will have you shouting, "Oh yeah...HIM!" Watch for Lloyd Bridges, Frank Converse, Broderick Crawford, Ellen Corby, Murray Hamilton, John Fiedler, James Hong, and -- of course -- the incomparable Whit Bissell!
